DOLA is an acronym for Dog Off-Leash Area. Many cities have off leash areas nestled into neighborhood parks or in cities. Often they are not fenced, just signed. Many of them occur in mixed-use spaces: a schoolground being used after school hours for off-leash dogs would be an example of mixed use.
